The finale — the most remote park in the system, closing out the full 63 as the year turns over. Late December into early January is the heart of American Samoa's wet season, overlapping the South Pacific cyclone season — expect warm, humid conditions around 85°F with frequent afternoon downpours, and a real if low-probability chance of a tropical cyclone affecting travel. This is also the most logistically remote park in the system: the Ofu/Manuʻa unit requires a separate short inter-island flight or boat from Tutuila, running infrequently and highly weather-dependent this time of year. This trip spans both Christmas Day and New Year's Day but doesn't cleanly map to either.
